Privacy Policy

What this website collects, why, and what happens to it.

Last updated: 23 October 2026

This policy covers the SpaceEcho public website. The EchoCloud customer portal is a separate service under a separate agreement, and the monitoring data your stations send is governed by that agreement rather than this page.

Who is responsible

SpaceEcho, of the New Administrative Capital, Cairo, Egypt, is the controller of the information described here. SpaceEcho has offices in Egypt, Qatar and Germany. For anything in this policy, write to info@s-echo.com.

What this website collects

Only what you type into one of three forms. Nothing on this site asks for a payment detail or a government identifier, and there is no account to create.

Request a quote

Your name, organisation, organisation type, email address, and the solutions you selected. Optionally a phone number, a country, and whatever you write in the details field. Your preferred method of contact. If you opened the form from a product page, which product that was.

Contact us

Your name, email address and message. Optionally a phone number.

Newsletter

Your email address, and the date you subscribed. Nothing else.

Why we hold it

To answer you. A quote request and a contact message are stored so the engineer who replies can read what you asked, and are emailed to the inbox the team watches. A newsletter address is stored so we can send the newsletter.

We do not sell any of it, and we do not use it to advertise to you elsewhere.

[Lawful basis for processing, per jurisdiction.]

Analytics

This site loads Google Analytics (measurement ID G-F9VHWT6TCC), which sets its own cookies and reports to Google. It records which pages were visited, roughly where from, and whether a form was submitted — not what you typed into one. Google's handling of that data is described in their privacy policy.

You can block it with any browser setting or extension that blocks analytics; the site works normally without it.

Cookies

Two cookies come from the site itself: a session cookie (spaceecho_session) and a CSRF token (XSRF-TOKEN). Both are needed for a form to submit safely, neither tracks you between visits, and both expire. The remaining cookies are Google Analytics', described above.

Technical information

Form submissions are rate-limited per IP address, and a submission the spam check rejects is logged with its IP address and browser user-agent so a false positive can be told apart from an attack. Those log entries are kept for 90 days and then deleted.

Who else sees it

The SpaceEcho team. Beyond that: the company that hosts this site, the provider that delivers our email, and Google Analytics as described above. [Named sub-processors and the countries they operate in.]

How long it is kept

Quote requests and contact messages are kept for 24 months from the last contact, so a returning enquiry can be read in context, and are then deleted. A newsletter address is kept until you ask us to remove it.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to info@s-echo.com and we will reply within 30 days. To stop receiving the newsletter, reply to any issue and say so.

[Rights specific to GDPR and to Egyptian and Qatari data protection law, including the right to lodge a complaint and with which authority.]

Children

This is a site about industrial and institutional monitoring equipment. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. A material change is announced on this page, and anyone who has written to us about their data is told directly.
